Evil is chasing the wizards. The search for refuge may hide an even greater and more dreadful secret. An unexpected visit seeks to uncover an answer guarded by an ancient secret dating back to before the First Era of Anahkólion.

The Return of Evil begins in the year 2139 of the Time of Thur, during the Third Era of Ernt-nador (see Eras and Times in the Ernt-nador menu). A betrayal and the emergence of an evil originating from Anahkólion lead the Master of Wizards to the Book of All Times and into the past, specifically to the year 1974 of the Time of Wizards, in the Second Era. The story revolves around a terrible evil imprisoned in an artifact dating back to the First Era of Anahkólion. The resurgence of evil in Ernt-nador takes the form of an ancient enemy seeking vengeance against the Supreme Order of Wizards of Yondar and the kingdoms of Men in Ernt-nador. From there, various adversaries emerge, weaving a mysterious and enthralling plot that is sure to grip the reader from start to finish.

THE WIZARDS' WAR

The Wizards’ War Platform is the hub where all information about the books and content related to the worlds of The Wizards’ War will be hosted. In addition to the first three chapters of Book One – The Return of Evil – which readers will be able to download, the platform offers various content – not included in the books – to further enrich the story. Maps of the worlds, character lists with descriptions, covers and wallpapers, appendices on Eras and Times, a detailed calendar and timekeeping, kingdoms and lineages, and much more.

THE WIZARDS' WAR STORY

The story of THE WIZARDS' WAR takes place across three different timelines: future, present, and past. It will be presented in a way that is easy and enjoyable for the reader. It’s important to clarify that all these timelines are interconnected, holding a secret that dates back to a period called: The Origin of Evil. The stories are all linked by events that explain the facts and lead the reader to answers for each situation. Although the plot may seem complex, it is straightforward since the stories will be told simultaneously, as if they are all truly happening in the present. However, the chronology of the Eras and Times of each world – continents – will guide the reader through the sequence of events, making the narrative easier to follow and more enjoyable. THE WIZARDS' WAR offers a fluid and engaging reading experience, with ongoing stories that will ultimately resolve all mysteries, while continually introducing new enigmas with each book. The Supreme Order of Wizards of Yondar is tasked with battling evil until "The Origin of Evil" is uncovered and vanquished. Although the comprehension might seem complicated, it is simple, as the stories will be told separately, as if they are actually happening in the present. However, the chronology of the Eras and Times of each world (continent) will help the reader position themselves within the timeline of events, facilitating understanding and enjoyment of the reading. THE WIZARDS' WAR will provide a smooth and dynamic reading experience with continuous stories that will answer all existing questions in the end, while always bringing a new mystery at the end of each book within the plot. It will be up to the Supreme Order of Wizards of Yondar to face the evil until the Origin of Evil is revealed.

THE LORD OF DARKNESS - THE ORIGIN OF EVIL

Following the release of The Return of Evil from The Master of Wizards series, the first book of The Origin of Evil series—The Lord of Darkness from The Wizards' War brand—will be published. The book is already in progress, and spoilers will be posted here in 2024.

SYNOPSIS

The story of The Lord of Darkness begins in the world of Ernthys, during the 373rd Cycle of the Seventh Era of Anahkólion. A massive army, consisting of gods, ancient heroes, and mighty warriors, marches against the Primeval Power of darkness, which has existed since before the dawn of the Eras. Positioned for battle, Thuror, the God of Gods, reflects on the betrayal and everything that led them to that moment. His thoughts transport him to one of the most important warriors of the worlds and the moment when it all began—the story that ultimately gave rise to the series The Origin of Evil.

AUTHOR

R. R. GUIM

The The Wizards’ War series is the first work by author R.R. Guim to be published. From an early age, he developed a love for reading and writing. As a young man, he traveled to the United States of America and to London, England, where he lived until he was 21. In 1994, he wrote the trilogy The Invisible Ones, a crime novel that blends espionage and mystery, which remains unpublished and was completed in late 2002. In 1995, he began working at a renowned university in Southern Brazil. By 1997, he had enrolled in law school. In 2003, R.R. Guim decided to write about a unique and distinct universe, without the need for extensive research as his previous work required. Thus, in January 2003, he drew what would become the map of Ernt-nador. In the following days, he wrote the first part of Book One. This marked the birth of The Wizards’ War series, which at that time was called The Saga of the Wizards. By 2006, with the first three books written, he graduated in law and began working as a lawyer, which forced him to reduce his writing time due to the demands of his legal career. In 2021, he decided to expand the created universe, adding more depth and content. This led to the creation of the The Wizards’ War platform, where readers can explore and delve deeper into the entire created universe. As the narrative became more layered, the books grew in scope. In his quest to craft an unprecedented fantasy universe, R.R. Guim created six worlds—essentially continents—where the entire The Wizards’ War saga unfolds. The Return of Evil—Book One of The Master of Wizards series within the The Wizards’ War franchise—is slated for release in the second half of 2024. This will be followed by the release of The Lord of Darkness—Book One of The Origin of Evil series. Currently, at 50 years old, R.R. Guim resides in Brazil, is married, and has five children.
